What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

We take our family and friend’s health very seriously. If you feel sick or have any symptoms, we encourage you to stay home. Social distancing will be practiced and hand sanitizer will be provided.

Our venue encourages masks, but they are not required. We will provide masks at the entrance for those that choose to wear them. We expect our guests to make the best decision for themselves.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Please dress in your Sunday best. To ensure everyone looks slammin’ in photos, please no jeans, shorts, or t-shirts.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Highland Gardens in Highland, UT. Click here for more info.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

With this crazy Utah weather, you never know what you’re gonna get! So we’ve chosen a gorgeous greenhouse that is entirely indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Immediately after the ceremony, guests can head into the reception area to mingle with the bride and groom, take some pictures, and hang out until dinner is served.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. We recommend being at the venue at least 15 minutes prior.

We’re hoping the reception will be open-house style, but things are constantly changing with COVID-19. Our tentative timeline of events can be found here.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

The venue has it's own designated parking lot with plenty of spaces and is completely free.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones! However, to allow all of our guests, including parents, the chance to have an evening of relaxation, we request that the ceremony and reception be for adults only.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding ceremony is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Feel free to bring a guest to our reception. We only ask that when you RSVP, you indicate that you will be bringing a guest so we know how many people to accomodate.

What are we eating?

Brown Brothers catering will be providing a buffet. As of right now, the menu is TBD.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP online?

The deadline to RSVP is May 1, 2021. We prefer everyone to RSVP on our website, here. Or you can text or call Lexi’s mom, Cindy at 801-592-8725.

Can I post pictures?

Absolutely! Take all the pictures you want and post them using our wedding hashtag, #christensencrew2021. However, during our ceremony we ask that all guests keep their phones and cameras put away and be fully present to enjoy this special moment with us.

Where are you registered?

We are registered all over the place, but you can view our universal registry page here, that will direct you to wherever you’d like to shop.

If you don’t want to shop, or don’t have time, there is also an option to donate to our honeymoon fund on our registry page as well.

Will there be dancing?

We’re hoping to! Due to the COVID restrictions and the social distancing that will be in place, we aren’t sure if there will be room to dance, so stay tuned! We want everyone to be comfortable, so we encourage you to make the decision that fits you best, if a dance floor is present.

Was your wedding previously postponed?

Unfortunately, yes. Our original wedding date was May 15, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we were forced to push our wedding date back to September 3, 2020. Our original date rolled around and we decided we didn’t want to wait, so we had a small mini-mony with just family on May 25, 2020. Now 1 year later, we’re excited to FINALLY celebrate our marriage with you!
